Abstract
This study is intended to identify the constraints of learning Statistics faced by both lecturers and students in Tarbiyah Faculty and the Statistics materials needed by students. It took 19 lecturers and 62 students of Tarbiyah Faculty as samples. The data were collected using questionnaire and interview. It was found out that the students' comprehension of Statistics materials was low. This is due to several reasons: (a) inadequate competence of Statistics lecturer, (b) lack of Statistics instructional media, and (c) shortage of time allotted to Statistic subject, i.e. only 2 credits (equal to 90 minutes per week).
