Abstract

Sociology Learning with Semester Credit System (SKS) at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Lamongan is one of innovative and creative efforts in improving the quality of learning, through varied services, to accommodate the diversity of learners in terms of interests, needs, potential, talents, and learning speed. Consequently, service variations must be made. There are two service patterns, groups and individuals. Group services have two patterns, continuous and discontinuous (On / Of). In the continuous pattern each subject appears every semester, while the discontinu pattern of the subject does not have to be raised in every semester. The model of learning service at MAN Lamongan is more appropriate when done through continuous group pattern, as well as for sociology learning. The main considerations are limited space facilities, dormitories, and teachers, especially Sociology teachers; also more effective and efficient than the managerial side, cost, and effort.
