Pengaruh salat tahajud terhadap peningkatan perubahan respon ketahanan tubuh imunologik: suatu pendekatan psikoneuroimonologik

This article deals with the analytical description of the influence of tahajjud prayer on the increase of the resistance of bodily immunological response. The paradigm of the research lies on the prophetic tradition that "the most commendable sunnah prayer is tahajjud prayer" (1-.1adith narrated by Abu Dawild). This is due to the fact that beside it has the meaning of additional prayer (Q.S. 17:79), the tahajjud prayer can erase sins, gain the tranquillity, and hinder diseases (Hadith narrated by Tunnudii). The basic assumption the writer wants to examine is: Can tahajjud prayer increase the change of response of the immunological bodily resistance? In analyzing the subject matter, the writer employs some stages: the stage of selecting the sample with the help of questionnaire technique, the stage of laboratory observation, and the stage of conditioning, i.e. the qualified sample has been conditioned for four weeks with the training of how to observe the tahajjud prayer correctly. The result of the laboratory experiment shows that the tahajjud prayer which is done wholeheartedly proves to increase the change of response of the immunological bodily resistance.
