Abstract
: Since the implementation character education launched by the government through the Ministry of National Education in 2010, it becomes trend among the world of education from elementary school to university. It caused by the education in Indonesia is less considered its attention to the value of students’ character. There are many intelligent students in their academic but they do not counterbalance with their character. The concept of character education has been described in the manuals of Muslims. That is the holy book of the Koran particularly in letter Al-Mu’minun verse 1-11. The letters describes seven things that will get people to reach happiness, namely faith, devouting (khusyuk) in prayers, turning away from the things that are not useful, purifying theirselves with regular charity, taking care of lust, fulfilling mandate and promises, and maintaining prayer. Based this letters, an education expert, Akh.Muwafik Saleh, found The Seven Great Action which can deliver humans to achieve their success in this world and the hereafter both their intellectually and characteristically. The seventh attitudes are the sharpness of vision, self competence, effective life, sensitivity and social awareness, social change, doing something professionally and top leadership: leading with conscience.
