Abstract

One form of character education that needs to be instilled from an early age is discipline. Various forms of disciplinary application that can be applied to early childhood include not being late in coming to school, tidying up toys and learning equipment after completing activities in the right place, obeying the rules of school and home. This field research aims to find out (1) the disciplinary picture, (2) the child's opinion on the discipline application, (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors of the application of child discipline in the A1 group RA Hasyim Asy`ari Jambangan Candi Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative approach to the case study method whose research subjects are students of A1 group in RA Hasyim Asy`ari. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed by reducing, summarizing, and focusing on the relevant things to answer the formulation of the problem through observation and interviews. The results of the data processing is that the discipline applied in RA Hasyim Asy'ari varies, namely discipline in terms of coming to school on time, throwing garbage in its place, marching neatly when marching in front of the class, storing back toys or learning equipment to the place provided, queuing in any case, reading prayer and obeying what the teacher has instructed.
