Abstract

The paper deals with the significance of cooperation between China and Indonesia. It has very high strategic values from several aspects. One of them is from the historical side. The two countries historically have had a very long relationship since the early century. The other thing is related to the culture of the two countries. To a certain degree, there is a common thread binding the one to other. One more thing, Islam is as a melting pot blending some various cultures of the two countries. Nevertheless, there are some challenges the two countries have to face. The first one is Islamophobia. The second is Sinophobia.
